Notes & Combos

After having 5-6 instances where I lost the the fifth win games every time, we did it despite a uneventful array of opponents. I first used Starmie/Blastoise, then Blastoise/Meowth, Blaine, and Wigglytuff/Weezing (sometimes with Arbok). I lost one run with it before, but I decided to stick with an average Starmie/Greninja deck. Adjust ratios if needed, like removing Farfetch'd or Giovanni for X-Speeds, Sabrinas, or potions. However, Farfetch'd is no joke; it does provides strong early game momentum and can help with prize point manipulation in conjunction with Starmie EX. The decks I remember facing in this streak were Flareon, Pikachu, Starmie/Articuno, Ditto, and Koga. My honest opinions over this event: I don't really like it personally due to the variance of the game, but it does offer an intriguing, competitive, challenge.
